General AI training tells you what the tool can do. This course shows what it can do for your specific job. Each offering is run for one job family, chosen by the enrolling employers: administrative and office support, customer service and sales, human resources, bookkeeping and accounting, healthcare front office and revenue cycle, project coordination, or marketing and communications. In three instructor-led sessions, trainees work through the ten tasks that take the most time in that job family and practice AI-assisted methods for each in their employer's approved tool, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. An HR cohort, for example, drafts job postings with bias checks and builds onboarding checklists; a bookkeeping cohort reconciles a fictional statement export and drafts client explanations; a healthcare front-office cohort writes patient-friendly instructions without any patient information. Every lab uses fictional companies and data, and every session covers the data rules that matter most for that role, including personal information under G.L. c. 93H and PHI under HIPAA. Trainees leave with a role playbook of ten AI-assisted task procedures they can use the next day, reviewed by the instructor and a peer from the same occupation.
What you will be able to do
By the end of the course, trainees will be able to:
- Identify the ten highest-volume tasks in their job family and rate each for AI fit and data risk.
- Perform AI-assisted versions of at least six of those tasks in the approved tool, with a verification step for each.
- Apply the role's specific data rules (e.g., applicant data, client financials, PHI) by sanitizing three realistic inputs correctly.
- Produce a role playbook of ten task procedures (steps, prompt, check, time) peer-reviewed by someone in the same occupation.
